This Ware State Prison rebellion is yet another reason why the for-profit prison system should be abolished. US prisons are treated like slave plantations, where racial abuse is normalized daily.
I'm hearing the inmates at Ware were not being fed & they were exposed to COVID

Lmao even by the admission of the cops the inmates at Ware State Prison are being less brutal with the prison guards they've taken hostage than the prison guards usually are with the inmates

Prison isn’t a place, its a condition of unfreedom, & its spreading. Calls to “abolish” prison could easily displace conditions of control, as the “abolition” of slavery brought us to where we are now. In light of revolt in Ware State prison, we recommend: https://t.co/B5RWCJp3BV
